For this story I chose Black and White, to highlight the features of the face and the looks, giving greater intensity to the subjects. In this way, old friends acquire a new light during the bride’s preparations and a sunlit cathedral (San Sabino – Bari) that tells the story of an entire city. The shades of gray allow me to give a softer atmosphere to the photos in which the typical Apulian landscape, with trulli, centuries-old olive trees and wheat fields, is the background to the understanding gazes between Giuseppe and Irene.
Finally, there is no better place to enhance the joy of sharing like one of the most characteristic locations in the area: a fortified farmhouse, surrounded by the beauty of Valle d’Itria countryside. Here too, Β colors leaves room for facial expressions, and lights and shadows enhance pure geometries and clear dividing lines (an example is the view of the tables from above and the staircase that forms the background for the cutting of the wedding cake), which attract attention and gaze.
